Innovative Cool Fabrics from New Wide Group Selected by Expo 2010 Shanghai China

In 2010, Changzhou New Wide Knitting & Dyeing Co., Ltd., a subsidiary company of New Wide Group, teaming with 4 other business partners, has successfully obtained special approval as an apparel supplier in Expo 2010 Shanghai China. Using blended fabrics made of FLYCOOL® and DuPontTM Sorona® fibers, and applying a patented cold transfer printing process, Changzhou New Wide is authorized to sell functional apparel and goods with exclusive Expo 2010 logo. This successful case well demonstrates New Wide’s solid research & development strength and its ability in networking and integrating different textile sectors to produce innovative products.

 New Wide will introduce two new cool fabrics at TITAS 2010. They are:

-         blended fabrics of FLYCOOL® and MODAL® fibers, featuring coolness, softness and drape.

-         blended fabrics of FLYCOOL® and DuPontTM Sorona® fibers, featuring climate management function to reduce the dependence on air-conditioning. It is a perfect example of functional textiles with eco appeal.
